You will be given a compression garment specific for this procedure that must be worn at all times for the first week. Immediately after surgery, you will notice that your buttocks are larger. This enlargement is the result of two components: the fatty tissue from other parts of the body that will produce the permanent change and temporary swelling in the area of surgery. Patients also enjoy the body contouring effect that liposuction provides in the fat tissue donor sites.
