Overview
A pubic lift is performed to correct the mons pubis area that has been affected by weight fluctuation or age. Sometimes, due to hormones, excess tissue can also develop inside the mons pubis. The mons pubis is the area outlined by the pubic hair and includes the pubic bone and the soft tissue above the bone. The excess skin and fat can decrease self-confidence and create bulges and creases that can be seen when wearing fitted clothing.
