Patient was referred by her general surgeon for possible abdominoplasty with rectus diastasis repair. She had a small umbilical hernia that she has seen her general surgeon for. However, she has a large rectus diastasis since child birth. Dr. Najera discussed with patient that she would be a great candidate for an abdominoplasty with rectus diastasis repair along with hernia repair. He reviewed where her lower abdominal incision would be located. Her recovery was four weeks long.
