One of the first signs of aging is losing the elasticity of the skin on your face. Sun, wind, and gravity take their toll on your skin. The wrinkling on your forehead and the vertical creases between your eyebrows are commonly known as frown lines. You may also experience drooping eyebrows. All together, these effects make you look less youthful, and sometimes angry. You can reverse these early signs of aging with a brow lift by plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Najera in Frisco and surrounding areas (Plano, Allen, McKinney). With a brow lift, Dr. Najera can minimize the wrinkles on your forehead, dispel your frown lines, and eliminate other indications of aging.

Surgical Technique

A brow lift will tighten up the excess skin and tissue of the forehead. The incision will be made along your hairline to hide any scarring. The eyebrows will be lifted, and the skin will be smoothed to eliminate wrinkles and any sagging. Dr. Najera is skilled in several techniques of brow lift surgery and he will help determine the best technique for your aesthetic goals. We can combine your brow lift with a variety of other surgical and nonsurgical cosmetic treatments, such as BOTOX or fillers, to attain the most impactful outcome.

During/After Surgery

A brow lift is typically performed as an outpatient procedure under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation in 1-2 hours. Recovering from a brow lift can take a couple of weeks, and you will see some swelling and bruising immediately following your brow lift. You can return to work with makeup to cover the bruising and swelling in 1-2 weeks. You can resume more strenuous activities in 2-3 weeks. When the swelling and bruising go away, the beautiful results of your treatment will be revealed and can last for up to 10 years.

Expected Cost

A brow lift can cost around $3,500 - $6,000. If you choose to add other nonsurgical facial treatments such as BOTOX or Juvéderm, the total cost will be higher.
